Dimethicone (and) Dimethiconol

A clear solution of Dimethiconol gum in a low viscosity Dimethicone fluid. It provides spreadability in any type of formula and improves substantivity on the surface, helping to fix other actives. Within skincare it imparts emollience to the skin, providing a lubricious and silky-feel as well as providing water resistance supply on the skin and hair, with a non-occlusive film. It also provides a breathable non-comedogenic protection barrier. In hair care it yields shine and a high conditioning effect on hair.
