Erythrulose

Naturally-derived sunless self-tanning and hair dye ingredient. In self-tanning formulations, Erythrulose reacts with amino acids in the stratum corneum to achieve a colouring effect, without sun exposure and the damaging effect of UV rays. The colouring reaction is slow and gentle, making it possible to produce a natural, long-lasting and even tan without stripes compared to other sunless self-tanning actives like Dihydroxyacetone. Erythrulose can be used synergistically with other self-tanning ingredients such as Dihydroxyacetone.
