Dimethyl Isosorbide
High purity, colourless, transparent, solvent used as a carrier to increase the transfer of active ingredients on the skins surface. It also helps active ingredients penetrate the skins’ surface layers reducing irritation and potentially increasing the efficacy of the active ingredient – producing better and longer-lasting results. It is derived from Sorbital, from a corn source, and has a high natural content when compared to traditionally used petrochemical-based solvents.
